The Government of President Lenin Moreno, through the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, signed the contract for the construction of the 13.8 Kv El Triunfo-Villano-Paparawa project in the Amazonian province of Pastaza, the ministry said on Tuesday.
This electrical work will provide service to more than 300 families and guarantee coverage for the next 30 years.
The Electric Company Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. EEASA, responsible for the service in the Arajuno canton of the province of Pastaza, once the bidding process was completed, awarded the work to the El Triunfo – Villano Consortium. The project will require an investment of US $ 1.12 million and the execution period is 91 days.
The work includes the construction of: 46.8 kilometers of medium and low voltage networks; the installation of 92 street lighting luminaires on roads and populated centers; and, the installation of 300 two-phase meters at 220V. The contractor consortium will work on four fronts, complying with the environmental and legal regulations that govern this type of electrical construction.
During the contract signing event, the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Carlos Pérez, indicated that this work corresponds to a commitment made during his visit to this area last May. “Be assured that from the Government we are working to meet your needs, in a coordinated manner.”
