GES will build a 244mw wind farm in Mexico

In September, Global Energy Services (GES) will begin the construction of a new wind farm located in the city of China, Nuevo León. The wind farm will have an installed capacity of 244MW once it is connected to the grid. The park is expected to generate 850GWh / y, which will mean a reduction of 390,000 tons of CO2 every year.

GES will be responsible for the civil works including the construction of the 83 foundations and their platforms, 52 km of roads, the supply and installation of the meteorological towers and medium voltage network.

GES is currently working on the construction of 400MW in Mexico, a country in which the company has a long experience of more than a decade. During this time, GES has built more than 1.1GW of wind energy, which makes the multinational a benchmark in this market.
