ExxonMobil launches its oil for gas vehicles in Mexico

The American company ExxonMobil launched its new product Mobil Pegasus 805 Ultra for gas engines to the Mexican market which helps reduce emissions and improves fuel efficiency.

Presented during the 4th Summit of the Construction of Natural Gas Plants, Mexico 2018, the new premium oil meets the rigorous demands of high performance engines, the company said.

Mobil Pegasus 805 Ultra is built on the foundations established by Mobil Pegasus 805, providing improvements in oxidation stability, oil life and is backed by the experience of Mobil lubrication engineers, the energy company explained.

ExxonMobil said that it is launching this new product within its search to maintain its leadership in technological innovation within the energy industry, which has a significant growth potential.

He estimated that in 2031 the demand for natural gas will increase 26.8 percent, reaching a volume of 9,656.9 cfmd. This increase, he added, is associated with the expansion of natural gas infrastructure, as well as the entry into operation of several combined cycle plants.

“With the aim of continuing to be leaders in the industry, ExxonMobil globally invests nearly one billion dollars per year in research and technological development, which allows us to launch innovative products and meet the growing demands of the market,” said Alejandro Cardona, Sales Director at ExxonMobil.
