Older iPhone models have been officially discontinued by Apple as soon as it announced the launch of the brand’s new star: the iPhone 11, this Tuesday.
On the Apple website it is no longer possible to find the iPhone XS or XS Max models for sale, which debuted just a year ago. The iPhone 10R, which was announced at the same time that the XS and XS Max is still available.
The iPhone 7, which launched in 2016, also seems to have been discontinued. Apple also replaced the 9.7-inch iPad with the 10.2-inch iPad and the new Apple Watch replaced the 4 series.
It is not the first time that Apple takes these types of measures with its product line. Last year the company discontinued the iPhone X, which was replaced by the XS, as well as the 6S, the 6S Plus and the iPhone SE.
Now the iPhone 8 is the cheapest model at a price of $450, while the iPhone 11 models start at $699.
